I love my new 2019 Mirage Hatch ES 5 Speed Manual!

    Hello All!!

    I am from Indianapolis, Indiana.

I’ve recently purchased a new 2019 Mirage and this is the first Mitsubishi/brand new no mileage car I’ve ever bought. I work for a Mazda Mitsubishi dealership as a mechanic and I took advantage of their employee pricing and no hassle financing for a new car about a month ago. I love the sporty handling of the car the free revving engine the noise it makes and the styling of this car in comparison to other sub compacts. I’ve already replaced the shift knob with a weightier one and it makes a good difference in shift feel and quicker shifting.

I would like to upgrade my Steelies for some wider wheels and possible install coil over suspension for less body roll and more mechanical grip while cornering by lowering the center of gravity.

Also I’d like to install an armrest and possibly upgrade to an Apple CarPlay system and look into some rear seat mounted subs.

I’m glad to be here I hope to chat with you all soon!!!

Welcome! When you get around to it, a lot of us on here would like to hear what your experience has been with the cvt mirages as a dealership tech. No pressure, lol. Enjoy your new car!

    Welcome!

I have everything you should need to add the carplay unit to your car that I removed from a smashed 2017 Mirage SE. I've been using it as a garage radio for the time being but that's obviously not the best use of a car stereo hahaha.

Wait, haven't you read any of the professional reviews of the Mirage? This car is worse than riding the bus...with bleeding hemorrhoids! Worse even than a Yugo! You are supposed to hate it!

    Seriously, though...welcome aboard!

    Belated welcome, Moises!

It's great when dealership insiders buy the Mirage. Such a terrible car!

Don't forget to make a garage page for yours:

    Garage empty: add car
