Taxation with representation was the old slogan right?

Well said, let’s get back on topic.

It's a cash grab. If they really cared about reducing emissions they would legislate other laws, in addition to taxing.
Nobody knows where the money collected from the tax goes either.
Fun fact: For the last decade, China has added more CO2 emissions than is produced by the entire country of Canada EVERY TWO YEARS! IOW, we could cut our emission to 0 and it would make practically no difference on a global scale. I wonder what Prime Minister Feminist would have to say about that.
Even with all of that nonsense, I do think that we should continue to cut emissions as much as possible out of a sense of living clean.

I found gas as low as 89 cent/liter here on saturday. It's been up and down between $0.90 and $1.10 for that last few weeks.

Maybe someone should start a thread about how great the pm is?

Gas prices in my neighborhood have come down to $2.64/gallon.

    Non-ethanol goes for about $3.50 a gallon.

NY's all like $2.86-$2.89 a gallon here. Unless you go to a reservation, which I don't. The cheapest I've seen it here at a non-reservation is $2.74 over at a really local station that opened up.

I've never paid over $20 for gas. (I don't like seeing one or two bars so I'll usually only pay $16)

I paid $2.48 for 87 octane E10 last Saturday. 88 octane E15 was $2.43. That's the lowest I've seen for quite some time in our area (SW Wisconsin).

They're giving away gas at costco right now. 83 cents a liter=$2.39/gallon according to https://www.vcalc.com/wiki/pro/US+Do...lars+per+Liter

I just looked on gas buddy, the cheapest average gas by state was Mississippi at $2.150/gallon which works out to $.74/liter cad.
And the highest being the state of cancer at $3.622/gallon(usd)(us gallons)/$1.25/liter cad.
Bc shows the highest average at $1.39/liter/$4/gallon.
Crazy Vancouver looks as high as 4.20/gallon us.

It is crazy how much you guys get taxed for gas in BC! Do they add extra tax for being in the rainy south?
