    fuel door lubricant?

I didn't see anything in the manual about lubricating the fuel door release. I'd just put some chassis grease on it, but was hesitant because I don't want a buildup of dirt. It works ok, just preventative maintenance.
Wondering if it's supposed to be lubed or not? It was dry from the factory, as a lot of plastic stuff is (the release pin, I mean).
    Thanks.

Update: I don't know about Mitsubishi, but others recommend a silicone dry lubricant, so I ordered some.

I would use silicone myself. If I ever felt the need to lube that, which I never would.

How has this thread lasted this long without Fummins making a lubrication joke?
