None of that worked. From what I have tried the engine will not start without the factory key in the ignition. May take someone who's willing to take their ignition cylinder out and possibly wiring whatever components are in the transmitter directly to some wiring in the ignition cylinder if they can find a comprehensive wiring diagram .

There is a black ring around the end of the ignition tumbler. I'm pretty sure that's where the pickup is.
We have a Mirage or 2 that came with an aftermarket remote start from new(dealer or farmed out install). One day I'll look at what they used to make it work. My guess is they just used a mfg specific bypass module, I would have hoped the day's of hiding a spare key under the dash in a code reader box were long gone by now but maybe not?
