So I guess I left my wife in charge of maintenance for the last 6 months...

Brought the car into the shop today.
    DF tire, 9psi, 3/32
    PF tire, 14psi 3/32
    DR tire, 49psi, 9/32
    PR tire, 21psi, 8/32.

Not to mention the garbage bag of wrappers I pulled out, the pound of clay and sand on the floor, the coffee stains I scrubbed out...

Ugh. Anyway, Engine and Cabin filters changed, tires rotated and set to 38psi, engine oil treatment flush and change, tranny oil changed, brake fluid changed. All latches and hinges lubed.
Washed top to bottom. Tomorrow it's going on my ramps at home for paint work on the underbody, then itll get fluid filmed, I'll do a full brake service and finish detailing the interior.

    Poor, poor neglected car.

Ahem, not all forum members are men and I don’t think neglecting vehicle maintenance is gender specific. My oldest son even though he grew up around me maintaining my own vehicles neglected the maintenance on his Ford and is now paying the price. I must have told all my kids a thousand times “a car is not a magic box, it’s a machine”. But hey, what does the old man know lol?

My kids are the same way, despite me preaching "take care of your car and it'll take care of you". You do know we get wiser the older they get...

Good thing this isn't the UK. You'd be interviewed under caution (basically you get a criminal record) for the hate crime saying chicks treat cars as garbage cans. And don't ever, EVER misgender a trans woman or you'll get hauled out of your house/workplace in handcuffs and be questioned for 8 hours straight

I don't understand why people treat their cars like garbage... I get the Mirage is a cheap car but so many of the ones I looked at were so disgusting and just overall trashed... it's crazy.

Lets face it, the typical Mirage owner isnt like you guys. Theyre probably broke as hell, make bad life decisions on a daily basis, late for everything except court, and take care of nothing besides their Air Jordans. At least thats the majority of the type of folks I see driving Mirages in Atlanta.

Im guessing alot of the Mirage owners I see in Atlanta simply havent sold enough crack rock to get that Chrysler 300 with the spinning 22 inch chrome wheels.
