    Amsoil cvt fluid

Hello! It’s about time I change out the CVT fluid and filters in my Mirage. The nearest dealer is almost 4hrs away so I’ve decided to do it myself.

What I’m really wondering is if anyone has tried the AMSOIL CVT fluid in there mirage yet. It says it’s compatible and has great reviews for other vehicles but I’d like to know if anyone here has tried it.

Thanks everyone and hope to hear back

It's listed as meeting CVTJF-4 specs (which the Mirage requires) so it should be fine.

Yeah it meets all of the requirements so it should work. I’m just wondering if anyone else has tried it and noticed any difference compared to other brands of fluid.

Well if you are the first let us know. I bought some Castrol Transmax CVT fluid on sale at Walmart. It is also listed as compatible. I plan on doing a flush and both filters in about 20k more miles and will update on the results.
