    Lucky guy....Accident with my G4

Last night as I on my way to work, I was changing lanes to my left. I was going with the flow of traffic, driving alert, always checking mirrors (and my blind spot mirrors). I saw nothing and proceeded to change. The particular area I was in is a few areas merging into a smaller tunnel, plus it was rush hour, and it's just a crazy area to drive anyhow. I heard metal on metal, saw my driver mirror fold in and immediately went back into my lane. I made my way to the side of the road and got out, not knowing what to expect for damage. I would guesstimate our speeds were anywhere from 35-45, so let's say 40?. She was in an older Ford Edge. I wound up with some scrapes on my drivers door and fender, where they both meet, and a dent (that I'll bet money will pop out, I just haven't tried) by the side blinker. I think there were some scuffs on my mirror too. In a quick buff out with my sleeve, a lot of the marking came off. Definite scrapes on the paint, but nothing horrible. Nothing actually broke, car drives like normal and most importantly no injuries-hence the lucky guy in the title. This could have been so much worse, I see multiple accidents daily on my commute that are. Her Edge had some scuffs to the front bumper and fender. I tried to get the best pics I could, but I'd just washed my car and it's shiny!!

Thank goodness no injuries and looks to be some superficial damage.

I more power would have launched me into the car in front of me lol.

It's kind of ironic, I have driven like a crazy, newly licensed teenager for YEARS with no incidents. I finally get a sensible car, and start driving sensibly, and BAM! Literally

Glad everyone's ok. Think you'll put in an insurance claim?

Whose fault was it if both signaled at the same time to change lanes?

Yeah...that damage may look minor but it's going to be expensive to fix. There are a couple of damage pics with estimates in this thread.
