One thing I did learn in the past is that there is a limit to the number of images you can upload in a single post.
Regarding uploading I've noticed that some uploads fail. I thought that the process timed out because the multitude of files were too large so I started uploading fewer photos before clicking on Upload and that helped. Now I upload a single photo at a time.
