Bye Mitsuko, hello Noodles

"Noodles" is mine! Just the paperwork and the $ to come from the insurance company. Probably get the car on Friday. I am a nutcase and always name my cars. My G4 was "Mitsuko" a common female Japanese name. This one is "Noodles" and yes there is a story. When I had my wreck, I was 3 blocks from home going to the grocery store to get some noodles to make a batch of chicken and noodles. I was telling a friend about it and he said "All to get some F'ing Noodles" So the joke stuck. Thus the new car is "Noodles". I'll keep my screen name as Mitsuko in honor of my first Mirage and Mitsubishi. Thanks for listening to all my nonsense and woes, guys!

Do you have a dollar figure from the insurance company yet...and is it fair?

I got real good payout from Geico, I had $7K to put down on this one after payoff of loan and a great deal from Northtowne Mitsubishi. My payment is a little higher due to interest rate fluctuation, but within $15 of my old payment. I miss my loaded G4, but this will turn out ok.

Great...that's good to hear! I'm always concerned about how an insurance company may try to undervalue these cars in a situation where the car is a total loss.

I belong to a few car forums and without question, except for the super high performance cars, I feel the people here have a much deeper attachment and respect for our little wonder boxes than people on any other forum. Congrats on Noodles!
