    parts haul

    rockauto:
2 kyb struts that i installed stock springs on
    front brake pads
    an ac delco oil filter

    ebay:
    namcco clutch kit
    stock clutch cable

    pep boys:
multi color led 194 cargo area light

havent installed anything except the led. its not the brightest but it cycles through colors and is pretty. gonna replace it with a different led soon.

some info for everyone. pepboys by me are switching to service only thus eliminating the retail side. meaning, the pepboys by me has 40% off their entire stock. so i am trying to get a nice cache of parts before they close.

    still in the cart:
    2 autel one sensors
    led headlights
    led side markers
    front oem winter floormats
    nokian nordman studded tires

yeah fairly typical if youve replaced struts before. this will be my third time. i got a pair of junkyard stock coilovers and wrecked them pretty fast. my car seems to find all the potholes. id like to find a more sturdy strut than the kyb but not much more expensive. since the strut mounts to the wheel hub with the 2 bolts that most cars have i think about trying different ones all the time. maybe ill get an old evo strut from a junkyard and measure to see if there is much difference. i think when i was looking the rear struts looks similar to the old eclipse front struts
