I wouldn't replace shocks at 30k "just because". If you're happy with how they feel and perform, you don't need to replace them. Replace them when they no longer meet your personal criteria for ride, handling and responsiveness.

I agree. You could switch the shocks for better ones on a brand new Mirage & notice a difference. My Mirage is at 29,000 miles. I don't see myself changing shocks any time soon.

I have 130,000 miles, and around 100,000 miles I started to hear the front struts knocking and clunking. It is pretty noticeable now. Still waiting to find a wrecked '17-'20 to get the parts off of, as I will be damned if I am paying for new OEM stuff.

Why not look for 2014 or 15 for struts too?

Mitsubishi made some changes to the suspension for the 2017 model year, and some part numbers are different.

Why do you ask? Are you planning on replacing some parts?
