Thanks, inuvik. I feel like when I drove home from the dealer today, that the problem was actually fixed for real this time.

I don't want to complain too much, but my issues with my 2014 Mirage is 90% dealer, 10% car itself. They could have fixed everything in 1 visit, and not 7 visits @ 3 hours a piece... I refuse to pay money when I bought my 10 year warranty back in April 2014, with my car.

Anyway fixed now, but I feel a bitter taste at the dealer now hate to admit it, even though I love cars and Mitsubishi's to be honest.

Closing this thread. I'll update the title by adding "solved".

    Small evap leak - returned

So, my '14 Mirage's evap leak returned... I'm at a loss.

I'm waiting for a phone call from my local Mitsu dealer.. I am pretty sure they don't want to deal with it anymore.

It figures. Like forum members who say goodbye but keep coming back.

Not to celebrate your misfortunes but I'm glad you are keeping us updated. Here's hoping you get it fixed.

Well that sucks. Might as well open up that other thread again.....
I had an evap code on our armada that haunted me until I sold it. I never did figure out the actual problem. I feel greasy.

C'mon dspace9, don't give up just yet. I'm sure we can find a way through this. I mean, it's just a leak.

So once again from the start, can you recall any work done on your fuel system (tank, lines, pump...)

Well how about lets start this thread all over again. So your check engine light is on. Do you have a code reader to find out why the light is on. I quickly skimmed over this entire thread and I didn't see a single trouble code posted. If I missed it let's see it and can probably figure it out before the dealer can. The only emissions related codes I've come up with on these cars have been broken wires at or near the evap solenoid under the rear lh corner of the car. One car had a corroded plug right at the solenoid that's attached to the side of the charcoal canister. Both were easy fixes. Otherwise I haven't seen any gas cap problems with these cars yet.
Either way we need more info. Letting the dealer try is obviously not working to well lol.

Just for S and G's, I re-read the thread, too. DS9 mentions a check engine light, but never gave an exact code. Johnny Mullett said he had the "same code" as did Top Fuel, but I can't find where the code was listed. So while everyone is trying their best to be helpful (as always), we may be chasing our tails and not realizing it. I like Fummins idea: lets full stop and start over and get as much data as we can.
