Exclamation Engine would crank but not start/run

    I have a 2017 Mirage auto with 14,500 miles. (24k km)

I did not drive the car for 3 1/2 days... I came home last night and started it for about 20 seconds just to make sure I could get to work in the morning... Tried starting it this morning (32f) (0c) outside and it wouldn’t start... just was hogging out.... didn’t sound like the battery.... just wouldn’t turn.... I know as bad as it is but I had to eventually tap the gas and it was puttering .... x10 more attempts I got it to turn over....

Any known issues???? Take to dealership for warranty????

    Thank you......

Oh btw... I’ve had car since brand new and this has never happened ... even at like -20degrees ...

You flooded it when you only ran it for 20 seconds (it's possible to do even with fuel injection). This problem has cropped up from time to time. The owner's manual even describes the situation. Go outside, put your foot to the floor and keep it floored while you are starting the car. Once it starts you're good.

    Top fuel,

    Your post on another thread:

”Cold conditions means the engine is going to be delivering a lot of fuel at startup. Your spark plugs may have had a slight amount of residual fuel on them from when you moved the car and the engine wasn't warmed up. Then you try to start it up again later and here comes a lot of fuel delivery from the injectors to a cold engine. Once the spark plugs are coated with unburned gasoline, the ignition voltage will short to ground instead of jumping across the electrode gap normally. Try holding the throttle to the floor while cranking the engine. If it still won't start, consider pulling a spark plug to see if it's wet with gasoline.“

    May have solved it.

I’ll let you guys know if I encounter it again... thanks for the help
