    hello, tires please

    I switch from the factory 165 65 r14
to a 175 65 r14 and it's such a huge difference, smoother ride and better handling. reduced alot of my swaying. and you don't chatter your teeth going over bumps. I went with a set of Douglas 175 65 r14 that I got brand new from a wrecked corolla. they have about 500 miles on them and it stands a little taller. 2018 mirage es 31000 miles

"Douglas is the trademark for a line of tires owned by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company which manufactures the line and sells them exclusively through Walmart. Goodyear registered the name in 1992 through its subsidiary Kelly Springfield Tire Company. Since then, Douglas tires have been considered comparable to Kelly brand tires."

Good to hear you like them initially. The true test of a tire is when you go to replace them in the future. Do you go back to Douglas or look for something else?

By the way - "Dunlop Tires are well known throughout the world. The company is a partnership between two different companies, the Japanese company Sumitomo Rubber Industry owning twenty five percent, and the British company, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company owning seventy five percent."

Dunlop Enasave tires are made by SRI.

Hello dquiros and welcome to the forum.

Feel free to make a Garage entry. Use it as a way to let others know what you have and what you've done to it.
