    5 speed cruise control

Has anyone on here added oem cruise to a 5 speed? I know I've seen some Rostra units added on here, but can't remember if anyone was able to use oem parts? Asking for a friend

The Daox mod is amazingly well priced! Come on, $40 for the control. That's great. Add a few bucks if pedal switches are needed, add the cost of a communications cable to a laptop and some time and you're done.

I haven't added cruise to my mt 5mt yet, but the Daox approach seems easier/better/cheaper than going OEM with a new wheel.

Installing it is easy. Activating it in ETACs is a bit more cumbersome. I wrote up a DIY for it, but the ETACs stuff has changed (updated software) so it's not completely the same anymore.

This may ease some reservations about it all - "Adding Factory Cruise And Fog lights To My Mitsubishi Mirage. ETACS Programming 101"

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcMpT6JalTQ

This mostly covers the ETACS part of it all. It's sort of nice to watch someone go through that part, however. It was shared on the forum, but it's easier to find on youtube.com.

Does anyone know if the wiring is already in the steering wheel (like the fog lights)?

I believe if you already have bluetooth/radio controls on the steering wheel then you probably have the wiring for cruise on the rh side. The cars we have at work here are like that and have the proper brake switch already as well. I haven't checked the clockspring but I assume they'd be the right one if the wiring was already in the steering wheel.

It's all there. If you have the steering wheel with the blanks in it, I would buy the switches from Mitsu. It's cleaner and nicer than my setup.

I like your setup that replaces the start thing. It keeps the wheel from being cluttered.
