This site is so eclectic at times, this is why it's my internet home. I enjoy the people here more than anywhere else. I personally think there should be cross promotion with the others to expand everyone's world.

Ill check the car again in a day and see if any fluid has left the reservior.
Hey Dirk how about an update?

Update: Mitsu claimed that since the hose port was damaged during the engine replacement that the original dealership should replace the heatercore. The problem is that dealership is out of business for shady business practices. So its still up in the air what the verdict is. Good news is the fluid seems to have reduced in the amount it is haemorrhaging but they didnt order another pressure test after the hose was partially restraightened out and tighter clamps put on? So I wont know until they retest it, which we have to pay for.

If it does get cold there, that's when it'll likely leak a bit. If it stays good maybe call it a win?

    Final update

Went in to get my oil changed, I go every 10k miles, and asked again about replacing the heater core under warranty. I made the mistake of admiting there isnt much, if any leaks so far. We the service guy ran with that and made call and said they wont replace it. I should of just lied and said it was still haemorrhaging fluid! Thanks Mitsubishi!
