*Explains why modern cars are the most dangerous cars*
*Drives a 25 year old Toyota Celica that doesn't even meet today's standard of safety*

    LOL

If anything, that channel is just pure entertainment from one's opinions. It's like how some people review Cameras and Camera lenses (or anything with a specific hobby) and take the reviews to an extreme

I really doubt many people take Scotty Kilmer all that seriously! It's a good thing a thread of one post done back in November can be resurrected & create such a stir in some members!

    Scotty bad! Me good!

Another great day for the mirageforum.com!!!!
I don't expect anyone to dislike scotty just cause I don't. Make up your own mind. I won't stoop to calling others ignorant and misinformed because they want to watch some guy who makes obnoxious hard to watch videos. It's hard to take someone serious that can't respect others opinions without name calling and being offended cause we don't like the guys videos as much as you. I really don't care about the guy, what he drives, how much he paid, how much he makes, how long it took for corn to go through his system etc....

Disliking a youtube guy is slightly different than being an anti vaxxer, flat earth believer, pipeline protester. We shouldn't all be treated the same

Will someone please write new Mirage Forum lyrics to Hank Williams Junior's song Family Tradition? I'm not creative enough.

I don't particularly care for the Smart Car myself, but it has done extremely well in crash tests. Smart Cars are made by Mercedes.

"As for safety, the ForTwo did well enough in crash tests by the independent Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) to earn the group's highest rating—five stars—thanks to the car's steel race-car style frame and liberal use of high-tech front and side airbags. " Sep 16, 2019

I read this forum quite often, and I occasionally watch Kilmer clips. None of you that are bashing Kilmer have anything on him in area of car knowledge. From everything I have read and seen the past few years, it isn't even close. I don't mean to offend anyone. It's just how I see it. These type of threads just bring it out more.

You may not like Kilmer's style and you are surely entitled to your opinion of him. I just find it ironic that we bash him about misinformation with our own version of misinformation.

No one has contributed one piece of useful information in this thread. If I missed it, I apologize up front.

    (Mirage) Family Tradition

(to the tune of Family Tradition by Hank Williams Jr.)

    Mirage Forum members

Have always been a real friendly bunch

    But there’s one topic thread

That just might lead to a punch

    I guess it’s because

We’ve all got our own opinion, but

Arguing about Scotty Kilmer is a family tradition

    You gotta wonder

    Why do we care? What

    Someone views?
rev up your engine; don’t blow a fuse!
    Over and over
    Despite Eggman’s admonition
We battle on just a carrying on,
    An old family tradition

    You had best be ready

    When you mention Scotty’s name
    Though we love these cars
    We’re not all the same
    We’re a diverse forum
    With a predisposition
To kick and fight, just to prove we’re right, it’s a family tradition

    So don’t ask me

    Why do we care? What

    Someone views?
rev up your engine; don’t blow a fuse!
If you have a problem with
    My latest forum submission
I say bring it on, we’ll argue all night long,
    it’s a family tradition

Lord I have made some posts
And I have made some memes
And it can be a struggle; just to keep it clean.
    You may not respect me,
and want to voice your opposition
With a rebel yell, I’ll unleash hell

    It’s our family tradition
