    After removal, the plug with the bulb can be easily taken off. No tools needed.

    Yeah I know how to remove the light. If it burns out you remove it, throw it away and install a new light assembly. You can't change just the bulb. I just smashed one apart and took pics.

    One more difference! Wow!
    I replaced a bulb some time ago without too much difficulty.

    What about the numberplate light? Mine can be taken apart for changing the bulb.

    Weird, so you pop your light off the fender and the bulb holder is removable(similar to the tiny bulbs in the headlight assembly)I assume?

    Yeah license plate light bulbs are replaceable without replacing the entire housing. 14-15's require removing a couple Phillips screws, they're the same 194/168/w5w style bulb. The 17-20's are much easier, just need to pry a tab and the entire light pops out.

    Wanted to post these. I have found myself defaulting the first post here because its quicker for me to reference than other points.

    Anyway I noticed at lease the blinker for the 2018 g4 I have, has a differnt bulb

    1157na as opposed to 1156na
