I got my 19 CVT for $12k fairly easily. Would have been less if I was a "returning customer" good luck getting 3.5 rebate on 10k not happening. If so sign me up right now.

Am I the only one that prefers the current front end?

To me it looks like a caricature out of a Japanese comic for juveniles.

Elitist auto writers will always crap on this car so long as it has a 1.2-liter 78 hp engine and looks like it does. Sorry, it comes with the territory. I love mine and that's all I care about.

[QUOTE=Top_Fuel;98031]White Bear Mitsubishi has 2019 manual trans Mirages listed for $9999 right now. All we need is a $3500 rebate on top of that and I'll buy one over the phone.[/QU

I surely wouldn't hold out for a 2020 if a 2019 can be had for $10,000. White Bear will tell you about $1000 extra for tax, license, registration, doc. fees, but mine was slightly less (5.5% Wisconsin sales tax is less than Minnesota).

I'm almost certain Mits still has the discounts for repeat, first responder, student, etc. I found them after doing digging on the CDN site. Perhaps America dropped them for good, or you need to really dig to find them. They would give me $1500. Darn, now I'm really considering even with the exchange rate. As out of country I can exempt myself from the tax.

Oh no, with my discounts, knocking another $500 off the price (I haggle until they give in) I'm OTD @ $10,560 after the exchange is done. If there's a sapphire blue in there I think this might be a done deal. You get AC as a standard feature on US cars, right? It's manual now but still, it's not a $4000 option like in Canada.

Yes. You can't buy a Mirage in the US without AC.

I've found once you start telling the dealer you qualify for the discounts they start figuring them into the discount they were planning on giving you in the first place. Slimy.

Oh ya, you pull the discounts on them after they present you with a final figure for purchase.
