I'd try to get this one for around $5,000. The extra 20k miles on this one are not a big deal. The clean title this one has IS a big deal.

I agree. And this one may also have some 5 year/60,000 mile warranty left. Take the VIN to a dealer and they can tell you what the "in-service" date for the car is (the date it was sold). I bought my 2015 new in March of 2016. So the 5 year warranty for me could have lasted into 2021 if I hadn't blown past the mileage limit.

Manufacturers generally don't honor warranties on cars with rebuilt/salvage titles.

Warranty does indeed begin on the in-service date. My 2014 sold as brand new in late 2016 had a warranty start date of Oct 31, 2016.

Nice! I'll have to find out when the one I'm picking up was sold. Worst case it was sold in 2013 and I'll still have 3 years of warranty I'll likely(hopefully) never have to use unless the cvt blows up or the flywheel starts getting chewed up.

I've never owned anything new enough to actually still have any type of warranty.

The car has a salvage title. The owner says it has a new headlight, fender and hood and that he's owned and driven it for 3 years. The next cheapest car in my area was a 2015 with 32k miles for $5500 for reference.

If i can get this car for $4500 do you guys think that's pretty decent?
I don't know where in MN you are but I found a 2014 cvt with 60k miles for 4700. Looks like an se. Only one pic though. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...1950861542360/Attachment 16038
