Added LEDs. hours later the battery was dead. Coincidence?

Today I pulled the bulbs from my headlight pods of my '14 and replaced 3 out of the 4 filament bulbs with W5W LED bulbs. These are the same W5W LED I put in my '17 without issue. I simply couldn't rotate the 4th bulb by hand.

They were replaced about noon. I went to Krown and had my '17 sprayed and got home about 4.

I went to do some more things to the '14 and I was going to start it and charge it a bit. It just went click, then started making funny noises, the dash lights flickered on and off and the engine only turned about half a revolution.

I don't want to jump to conclusions but it's so weird I replaced a few bulbs with LEDs then 4 hours later an otherwise charged battery didn't have enough in it to turn over a tiny motor on a warm day.

I don't think so. If the lights set to auto once the key is out they all turn off. I leave my lights at auto. But maybe, now you got me thinking, I may have used the manual position to check the LEDs were working before i rotated them back into the housing. Hmmm.

You have an auto position on your headlight switch? Our es cars at work don’t, if you turn the lights in with car on they’ll turn off automatically but I think if you turn the lights on before turning key they may not? I can’t remember
