Yes, there is. But it doesn't provide me extra info. In the Netherlands a license plate is coupled to the car, stays with that car, and is never reused. So in terms of database search, the vin gives the same info as the license plate.

And about the random stuff, the only year I can read is 2007. Somehow I think that is not the year of production.

We have that too on the rh side. The sticker with production date is black and is on the other side of the car.
Open lh front door, look down at the bottom of the b pillar(center post where back door hinges).

Sorry, can't find it. On the left b pillar there's only a sticker with recommended tire pressure. (For less than and more than 165km/h both 2.7bar)

You know what, Space Wolf, I'm gonna take a picture of my Mirage's driver's side B pillar tomorrow, when the sun is out. You'll find it, unless you drive an unlicenced Mirage or Space Star there in Holland. Not being serious there Space Wolf

Has your car ever been in an accident or repainted for any reason?

Those are two circumstances I can think of why the sticker is missing from the B pillar.

Who knows, maybe they don't have the same sticker in other markets? I assume only canada has the little white sticker that says transport canada on it? Different country's different requirements. The weights are on the metal plate, I don't recall if they are on our cars? There are so many changes on these cars over the years and in different countries(country's or countries?)/markets a few dedicated threads could probably be made listing all the differences.

There are probably tens of thousands of different combinations of trim level options & mandated equipment over all the markets the Mirage is sold in.

I was amazed to learn only a driver side air bag was mandatory in one market!
