    Hello from Scotland.

    Hi folks,

    I hope you're all well.

I've been a long term lurker so thought I'd sign up.

I drive a white 2013 1.0 Mitsubishi Mirage. I got it when it was a year old with 9k miles on the clock. It's now got 105k miles on the clock and still going strong.

As cars go, it's the most basic car I've ever owned. It has no remote central locking, no air con, I have to adjust the mirrors by hand, it has poor sound insulation, steel wheels, black plastic wing mirrors, I have to lower the passenger window by stretching across and using the switch on the passenger door, and now I have issues with the heater matrix not heating one side of the car. But other than the heater matrix I've had no issues whatsoever. It's a great car and I love it.

Looking forward to getting involved in future discussions.

    Mike.

Glad to have you aboard, MikeUK. Not many 1.0 L 3A90 owners here, much less the bare-bones model you have. Any chance you could post some detailed pictures?

And I hope we can find a solution to the heater core issue - one that can remove the goop without replacing the assembly.

Man, I wish we got the 1.0L option over here.

Ha! Mine's the fanciest car I've ever owned. But I lucked into getting the top trim.

As for the heater issue - we've seen that in a few cars here. Daox (Tim) was the closest to seeing what might dissolve the goop blocking the passages, but I don't know if he ever actually tried any solvents on his.
