SUBJECT:SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR NEW OR REPLACEMENT ROCKFORD FOSGATE AMPLIFIER (DAS)
NOTE: One Amplifier Software Update Kit (p/n AMG17EAB03) has been shipped to each dealer at no charge. This TSB provides detailed information explaining the specific situations when the software update must be performed. If additional kits are needed, refer to the Parts Information section in this TSB.
PURPOSE If installing a Rockford Fosgate® ecoPUNCH™ Premium Audio System on a vehicle equipped with DAS (Display Audio System with Smart Phone Link), the Rockford Fosgate software will need to be updated. The software also needs to be updated if replacing a Rockford Fosgate amplifier under warranty (on a vehicle with DAS). Use the accessory amplifier micro USB input terminal along with instructions provided in this bulletin to properly update the software. This TSB provides instructions for updating the Rockford Fosgate system's software to properly sound tune the Rockford Fosgate system when a DAS system is present.
