low beam failure ... (SOLVED - bad LED blew fuses)

today one of my headlights wouldnt turn on so i switched back to the old halogen bulb which did nothing. then the other side decided to stop working. so i went and bought 2 basic halogen bulbs and they arent working either. the dash lights turn on like they should still and the fog lights and high beams still work so im a bit confused. also when turning on the high beams the rpms take a slight dip. maybe someone knows where the headlights wires go or has a wiring diagram?

Weird, I'm not sure about these cars but some have fuses for rh and lh high and low beams.

There's a link to the mitsu service manual around here somewhere for a 2015 too if you need.

It looks like there's a bunch of headlight looking fuses in the under hood fuse box. And a few in the under dash one too.

I feel like I should clarify something. I do not think that the LED bulbs I bought burnt out both fuses. I think it was just one defective bulb. I think the driver's side fuse burnt out because I put the defective bulb on the driver side to test it and the drivers side stopped working after that. Since the drivers side led is still working I have no other hypothesis.

That's enough to keep me away from LED headlight bulbs - at least those.

Thanks for sharing this. Let us know what happened to that LED and what the vendor does about it. Looking at the listing, they advertise a 5 year money back guarantee, in an oddly-colored, highlighted, bold font, about six different ways.
