    Speedometer light diming?

I'm not sure I remember the 2 needles being half bright and half dim as much as it does now.Name: 20191207_163057.jpg

Not sure I understand. Are you asking a question?

I haven't driven mirage in a week and don't remember the tip of the needle being dark. I was in a rush so I made this post quick. I guess my question would be how to make my speedometer brighter?

Thanks, after looking at some photos online of seller pics of the speedo it does seem that the needles are just half lit up. Was driving my Corolla mainly and the needle for fully lit. I had a hard time adjusting back.

It's explained in the owner's manual. Pages 5-63 & 5-64 in my manual. You use your multi-information display switch to make changes to your dash lighting. Copied & pasted this from my manual -

    * When the parking lights are illuminated, you can adjust to 8 levels.

    * Each time you reduce two brightness levels, the segment display of the brightness level decreases by one segment.

    * If you press and hold the switch for longer than about 1 second, the brightness automatically scrolls through its different levels, and stops scrolling when you release the switch. Select your desired level of brightness.

    * The brightness level of the instruments is stored when the ignition switch is turned to the “OFF” position or the operation mode is put in OFF.

Thank you, this makes sense. I'm wondering why they didn't just put it on the highest setting to begin with.

In some vehicles, the highest setting may create some glare on the windshield at night. The Mirage is not bad concerning that. I've had some cars that were bad, however.
