Today's Civics & Corollas are larger than the old Accords & Camrys. If you like sedans, they are nice cars. I miss the smaller Civics. My uncle had one of 1st model 2-cylinder Hondas that appeared in the States. My first car was a Honda Civic Wagon (63 hp). The growth of the models has created the need of smaller models like the Fit & HR-V.
I totally agree the Civic feels huge and is almost the same size of older Accords. i wanted a fit but it was not available in my area with a manual white/silver.
