    First Honda!

Hi peeps, long time since a check in but I got some news. Lancer had some issues and did not want to get stuck and I got a new car. Its a 2020 Civic LX 6spd. I am impressed being my first Honda. Car feels huge vs the Mirage and even my Lancer, but drives like a premium car, even more so than other lux cars I drove.

MPG is great but its begs to be pushed from the revving engine

Battery died, then died a second time two days later. Some said its the alternator some said its the battery when had it tested and the dealer said its nothing. Also when I slowed down the transmission made a whine. I still have it but will sell it!

I do not want to put money into something that will break and parts mostly being available at the dealer will cost too much with only 12 month guarantee!

Is that one Direct Injection? No doubt it must be a fantastic car. But I am too cheap to spend that kind of money and I would be in great fear of parking lot scratches and dings.

Congrats. A very solid vehicle. It must be a blast to drive that with stick-shift.

Scotty does like the Honda Civic, & he recently covered that car. He uses his customers' cars to discuss them.

He would recommend the 2.0 L non-turbo with the manual transmission. He is not a fan of Honda's 1.5 L GDI engine. Same engine used in the CR-V. I personally wouldn't buy that engine either.

Today's Civics & Corollas are larger than the old Accords & Camrys. If you like sedans, they are nice cars. I miss the smaller Civics. My uncle had one of 1st model 2-cylinder Hondas that appeared in the States. My first car was a Honda Civic Wagon (63 hp). The growth of the models has created the need of smaller models like the Fit & HR-V.
