Best ODB II reader to clear ABS and all codes for 2015 Mirage

    Hello all,

I ordered a BT ODBII reader, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00652G4TS/ I am not sure if it works well or not, I have ABS/ASC and ASC off lights on all the time on my car. I did get a code, https://www.autocodes.com/c1942.html but after I cleared it, the lights are still on. Is there a better/recommended ODBII reader to use? One that will actually clear the codes and dash lights? Or are these lights not clearable?

    Thanks!

Has the cause of the code been fixed?

Yeah, I have a TPMS light and it isn't on. I have also checked all wheels as well.

No, I was hoping for a more specific code. I need to check everything. Sigh, I hate troubleshooting...

This is why I was asking if there is a better ODB II Reader that I could get that isn't 5k...

I think the most common cause of those lights activating are a junk OBD-II adapter and the corroded connector behind the kick panel. But I'm pretty sure you've ruled them out - right?

By the way that looks like a good scanner. You'll have to let us know what you think of it.

So far works great, it is recommended by the Youtuber ChrisFix. It does live stuff too. Not sure if I will keep it though since I was hoping to get an actual diag from it. Maybe it would work better for an actual check engine code.

The code you posted is a tpms code c1942. Try to decode that mess of a post I made with the link that doesn't work. It has a flow chart.
Another note, when I do live data with my scanner or even try to diagnose with it plugged in the abs and traction lights will usually come one and stay on til I unplug the dongle. And we've had the same lights come on when we used gps trackers that plugged into the obdII port. I can't remember if that's been mentioned or not.
