I haven't had luck yet finding a steering wheel, though I just sent some fresh searches. If that doesn't work, would this work? Would I need the wiring or would the female end of the plug be enough? https://usa.banggood.com/Audio-Radio...p-1598449.html

Have fun everyone at the Mirage Meet Midwest.. would have been perfect for me being in southern Ontario.. so a midwesterner according to geography....

I am not sure if the border will ever be normal again... sorry. But even last summer with the back ups of traffic at the border, and the 1 bridge because of that dumb loophole the owner of the bridge has. The border has not been normal for a long time.

Seems dangerous in a lot of ways I hate to say it. Though I have been across so many times-- like flying in a plane, I am use to it all. I have family nearby in the USA so I travel to the states every year or two. Have to. I know Detroit better than Toronto sometimes lol.

Last I looked it was opening on the 21st with very possible extensions to the closure. With the explosion of cases we are sure to get in the coming days I don't blame Canada for maintaining the lockdown. But I am disappointed that I won't have dial controls for HVAC this summer...

My whitewater rafting trip got postponed. I am available for the whole weekend! And I've found a leather-wrapped steering wheel from a G4, hopefully that'll work.

I slept in my car on the way from MPLS to New Orleans and back, I can sleep in the car in Milwaukee.

And unlike car camping in a Walmart parking lot you won't get woken up by leafblowers at 3 am!

If things were normal, I would probably consider visiting, and just staying at a local hilton with an indoor pool that night. I heard insurance doesn't cover travelers right now, and even after the border is open again who knows if you can get travel insurance the same now.

So instead of paying like $25 for 3 days in the USA medical coverage through my bank, that might be a thing of the past. Travel was easy being a Canadian so it's good I went to Michigan last summer, who knew that may be the last time for a long time...
