Thread: Sleeping platform in Mirage (car camping)

    I hear you.

I moved all my stuff to the driver's seat, and crammed it in the footwells.

I drive a cheap Mirage so that I can afford a motel room when I go somewhere!

I realize the above comment offered zero help on this issue! What can I say? I like a bed, toilet, & shower!

This was a great idea from Mitsubishi that never caught on. For car campers it would be great to 3D print the frames and attach some screens.

The part your bum goes on. (The one with 3 seatbelt buckles tucked into it in the above pic.)

I drive a cheap Mirage so I can afford to drive my truck and tow a trailer that I can sleep and crap in it 2-3 times a year. Quite a waste of money but they don't have many hotels in the bush, and it's still better than being a crack or meth head. No offence to crack and meth heads.

I wonder the % of Mirages owner that imbibe in crack smoking? The % of em getting in shoot outs and robberies seem rather high lol. I type in Mirage in Google news and after a few reviews there's always some local news article, "FLORIDA MAN WRECKS MIRAGE NAKED, charged with public nudity across state lines and reckless driving".
