I love small cars too, so I was actually aware of the new Datsuns. I have never seen one in a real photo like this.

I believe they're made in India. I drive a Mirage now, so I am sure I'd drive a new Datsun if they brought them to Canada.

Congratulations! That's awesome! Now some words of wisdom from your ol' Uncle Punk:

Remember this time; burn it into your brain. Never forget what it was about her that made you want to propose. Life and time have a way of distracting you: Never forget.

Life is a journey of peaks and valleys. Tough times will come, rest assured. Too many just starting out forget that. The valleys won't last, so just hang on.

I've known from your posts you are a well-read indivudual. Whatever your opinion on the overall Book, I've always found this passage to contain quite a bit of wisdom, especially in regards to marriage: 1 Corinthians 13:4–8

Best wishes to you sir! You are about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime!

But your time was better spent.

Back yet? That island utopian paradise may be far away, but don't put off making your own.

Im back to cold Atlanta. I fired up both Mirages this morning and after 7 days of no driving they started right up with only a slight level of grumbling. One thing I notice though, if I havent driven either Mirage for awhile and its been raining, the car makes a slight whirring whistle noise when I accelerate. I wonder if its the belt being cold and wet? It does stop after a dry day or two.

I've noticed that, too, here in cold and damp Ohio the past week. It sounds like a belt with a little old power steering pump sound, too. But once the engine is warm, it goes away (at least mine does).

Now that's funny because you had wisdom enough to go somewhere sunny! From one traveler to another - Not all those who wander are lost.

My Speck does something similar and I believe it's the alternator working hard to operate the headlights, charge the battery after a start and operate the PTC heaters. To prove this, turn off heating, headlights and/or other accessories to see if the whirring goes away. Also, once the engine is warmed the heaters shut off.

Ooops, I get that too, Mirageitis methinks. I thought it sounded like engine top end but being absolutely ignorant of anything mechanical these days I'm not too sure. The noise increases as the engine speed rises. Soon goes though.
