    Seat heater behavior

Can someone with a Mirage with seat heat tell me if it's the bottom or back cushion that warms up on the low setting? I can't really read the diagram to make heads or tails of it and I'm trying to add a heated seat (using a set from a GT) and want to make sure I have it functioning correctly. The high setting should do both and I think I figured that part out.

They both heat on low setting and on high.

Okay, thank you. I wasn't sure if that's how it functioned or not.

I think I made some progress on figuring out how it works... it's kind of weird but without the Mitsubishi switch I'll have to figure out a way to make a harness for it.

I just installed a set of leather heated seats in my ilx.. just ordered a cheap pad set from ebay and used those switches with the OEM seats.

One more question, with the seats on high do they get pretty hot and then shut off for a bit before warming up again? That's what I discovered with having them wired up for the "hi" setting. I changed it to mimic the low setting and they still seem to be nice and warm. I'm just using a regular on off switch as my car isn't prewired for heated seats.

Did more internet sleuthing and in other mitsu cars the hi setting is literally to warm it up fast and then it will shut off to prevent burns or it burning the car down. Low is to keep the seat warm until you shut it off. Okay then, so my own seats with aftermarket switxhwork are working great. Excellent.

Yep. They turn off and on when on high.

Awesome. I really appreciate the info. Good to know since I don't have a factory setup to check haha.
