As an Uber driver putting 150 to 200 miles a day on my 2014, Im at 64k miles right now, I check the cvt fluid every week and I do the CVT fluid change out every 30k miles at a Mitsu dealership with OEM fluid. You could also change the 2 filters on the CVT too every 60k miles, but some say on here its not necessary if your maintaing clean fluid to begin with. I have yet to do this myself and my fluid looks pale green. Remember if the fluid is a pale green or orange, your good. If its brown, go on and change it out. If its black your on borrowed time, your cvt could crap out in a week or 3 years, only the Gods know! But changing out the cvt fluid with the previous fluid being black could do more harm than good. Sometimes the gunk is whats holding it up all together.
I'm glad I asked about the CVT! When I first had my car at the dealership for an oil change I asked the technician to also change the CVT transmission fluid and he said it never needs changed. Well I soon discovered he was wrong (even the manual calls for it), so I called back today and explained that the mirage CVT does indeed require changing (I called two Mitsubishi dealerships to confirm). I now have an appointment on Tuesday to get the oil changed, CVT fluid changed, spark plugs changed, and possibly tires rotated. Trying to keep this thing in top condition to hit the 200K mark. I checked the CVT fluid and it is a pale green but for peace of mind I'm going to have it changed so I know when it was last done.

Good job! You could consider asking them to change the 2 cvt filters out too. One is in the pan when they drop it, another is on the side. It might cost you an extra couple hundred though. All in all your doing right by your CVT. Also the majority of mechanical wizards on here drive the 5speed version, but if you read their opinion regarding the reliability of the CVT7 paired with the Mirage, its good. That speaks volumes to me considering a cvt is the complete antithesis of a manual tranny. Also always let the green engine coolant light go off before you drive. These CVTs dont like not being warmed up 1st.
