I've been lurking long enough to know you are, in fact, that guy, Mr. Fummins.
I'm pretty sure that's why so many people here respect you. Not a lot of people as knowledgeable as you are.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll do my best to contribute something useful here someday.

I wonder which group bought the most Mirages in the greater Chicago metropolitan area? The Crips, Bloods, or the Gangster Disciples? I think Chicago has alot of Mitsu owners, like Atlanta lol.

There's a king here that's nicknamed "Mirage" because he use to steal them exclusively in Puerto Rico. He said he could take one in 30 seconds with just a screwdriver and a slimjim. He said the ignition switched were garbage and there was no ignition wheel lock so he would pop the lock, wheel it down the hill and start the car with his screwdriver.
He even has a Mitsubishi tattoo.
As far as gang bangers here... I'd say most drive Dodges, Chevys, and Nissans. I regularly see at least two Mirages on my way to work, so yeah, I'd say they're common.

Don't here in Atlanta its common to see Mirages in the hood. Word on the street theyre very popular with The Taliban Vicelords and The Good Boys. The former group's leader, Delmontay "Still Hard" McCrinkleberry, was in the local news cruising in murdered out black G4.

That post is so ridiculous, yet completely believable.
Smart choice for gang bangers though.

That's what Mitsubishi should have kept marketing, against the Subaru Impreza.

100% agree. At the very least introduce a new VR-4 vehicle. Will probably be yet another crossover if they do though.
Ugh.. new Eclipse breaks my heart.
