Walmart has lots of different vendors- it is often the case where you'll find the same tires at different prices- whether it's in stock, or a particular model #. I looked up very similar tires and found them for $44.06 https://www.walmart.com/ip/Federal-S...Tire/187641144 Oh nvm. I see you posted Federals.
I noticed the same on amazon. Bought cheapo coveralls for $40, went to order more months later and they were $150. Walmart only started listing other sellers on the Canadian site within the last year or two I believe. I find most sellers seem greasy, cheap junk with crazy high shipping charges.
It seems like you can buy almost anything from walmart in the states hey?

I've noticed the huge fluctuation in pricing, too! I've seen 165/65-14 Federal SS657 tires as low as $38.xx and as high as over $150/tire on the Walmart site. Some days the tires disappear, & the next day they reappear. Overall, the $44 price is one of their better ones for this tire. I haven't seen them under $40 for quite some time.
I watch the prices of four tires, because they are the only 165/65-14 tires I would consider buying for my Mirage.
Federal SS657 420AA
Nexen N'Priz AH5 460AA (50,000 mile warranty)
Vredestein Quatrac 5 400AA (all-weather tire rather than just all-season)
Nokian Nordman 7 (snow tires known for decent LRR "low rolling resistance")
I'll 2nd that. I went to buy fairly priced Pioneer speakers util I saw the shipping was more than the speakers....SMH
As for Amazon I found buying from Amazon US is way cheaper. They even have a convenient drop box across the border. Of course, I can throw a rock from my house over the border.

So I just experienced this with Walmart's website. My old three wheeler needed tires(original tires are 37 years old, Japanese dunlops) so I found the best deal on walmarts site, only 40.00 each so I bought them, on rollback.
Checked today and the same tire is 72 dollars. Yikes
