Thread: Where are you sourcing your foglights from (17+ hatchback)

  1. #11
Mine are still bolted to my car. Ebay ones won't be here for a month or two. I could try to measure when I get home tonight if I remember. I might just try to take my broken one off without taking the bumper off. I think I can gogo gadget reach in there.

LOL if you're able to that's awesome.

if anyone else has any setting around. old broken 1 or something. take a bolt pattern measurement & post it. seems like this would be a good update if it can be confirmed

I'm pretty sure I looked up the part numbers on the mitsu parts site and they were the same? I'll look again

    2014 Mirage: https://www.mitsubishipartswarehouse...cal--fog-lamps
    2017 Mirage https://www.mitsubishipartswarehouse...cal--fog-lamps
    2017 Mirage G4 https://www.mitsubishipartswarehouse...cal--fog-lamps

Now I'm not so sure the 14-15 light will work with a 17 Mirage (non g4)

The part numbers for the 14-15 Mirage and 17 G4 are the same for the capsule itself and brackets that bolt to the light. The pics are different, who knows why.
The part number for the 17 Mirage is totally different but the illustration looks just like the G4 light.

Ok, heres the back of a 2017 Mirage light Attachment 16967

And heres the back of a 2014,2015 and g4 light Attachment 16968
It's hard to tell if one could be used in place of the other, the mounts look similar but it's hard to tell where it bolts to the light itself as far as front to back.

My original fog light for my 17 HB was cracked from a rock, and I pulled the light from a G4. They are interchangeable, bracket and all. It was a direct swap. I eventually replaced both fog lights from a European Mirage fog light set that have 2 bulbs in each housing, one for fog light and other for drl, it was a direct swap also.

The brackets/housing from a g4 and 17+hb will mount fine to a 14-15 fog light bracket.

You could also direct mount Outlander if you wanted.

I've found a few cheap 1s for outlanders.
Wonder if others have found other useful interchange parts to make a sticky of?
