No one has attempted this yet (at least not reported it here) so yah, I feel your pain. Looks like it might work but that's a bunch of $$ to spend on a maybe.
Here is a link to a cheaper one.

Maybe pick up a cheap ebay special for an evo and see if it fits first before blowing almost $200? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Racing-Spor...kAAOSwLQpZqDRR

This is the cheapest I could find after some digging, 30$

Might be better off going to a pick a part yard and grabbing a few to try or bring yours and match it up.

Do you think it'd be cheaper going to a junkyard? I tried looking online but they only had the full shifter assemblies listed

Pick a part yards don't post their inventory online around here. You have to actually go there, wonder around and look for junk yourself.
Fullserve yards usually won't bother listing shifters, you'll likely have to pick up the phone and call them and have them look.
Pick a part/pull your part/ pick n pull yards=cheap
Full serve yards= more moneys and less likely to have someone go look for a part you only want to pay $25 for.
Hopefully you find something that'll work, or someone post's whether they made something work.

Alright fair enough, sometime soon I'll go to my local pickapart since they've got a few Lancers in the lot
