There are 3 different videos of the same car at the same auto show. The one has a dude talking about the new Mirage in French, the auto show is in Quebec.

    tires

From the first vid, looks like Bridgestone Ecopia tires on the fancy alloys. I assume those are 15 inch and probably 185 mm width. Those tires have great LRR properties from what I've read. OE tire on the Prius C (recently cancelled).

Wow...that's a good catch! Having used Bridgestone Ecopia tires on multiple vehicles, this would represent a big improvement for the Mirage. These tires can last 80K miles (they carry a 70K mile tread life warranty) and they are as fuel efficient as the smaller (and less durable) Enasaves.

    Here's the interesting part...

The tires on that Mirage are Ecopia HL422 Plus. I've never heard of that tire model before, so I looked them up and here's a blurb I found...

The Ecopia H/L 422 Plus, introduced in 2018 to replace the Bridgestone Dueler Ecopia H/L 422, is engineered for long-lasting performance and improved fuel efficiency — all while offering all-season stability and a smooth, comfortable ride. It’s among the latest additions to Bridgestone’s Ecopia line of eco-friendly tires.

I have 185-55-15 Ecopia EP422 Plus tires on my Mirage. They have a different tread pattern than the tires on the car in that video...

edit - I found these tires on the Tire Rack's website, but they don't have any 15" sizes listed.

Those H/L 422 Plus' can't cost any more than the Enasaves.

Just a FYI to everyone interested in the new upcoming model - The UK already has them. You can build a new Mirage and see what new colors (sand yellow, purple berry, etc...) are offered, etc....

After seeing this design for the past 2-3 months, the new front end is giving me Nissan Versa vibes at certain angles. I'm becoming less enthusiastic with the new fascia. It's not bad, it just seems like the car got stuck halfway through a transformation. Am I crazy?

Also, anyone know if this start-stop feature is going to be standard (non-optional) on all future Mirage's sold in the US?

    Great find!

Interesting...looks like there are at least 3 trim levels in the UK that are available with a manual transmission. Why do I have the feeling that this won't be the case in the US market?!?

The side markers are there on the Verve & Design models but are missing on the "First Edition" models with the side mirror signals. Interesting that they are using two different quarter panels for the 2021 model.

I've never seen them in North America.
