    Sometimes that's all that matters.

    I learned that you can get similar sound by just installing a "torque strut" from the upper engine mount back to the strut tower. You get more responsive throttle because the engine isn't rocking as much, and you get "growl" transmitted straight back into the firewall.

    It really is kind of a cool sounding engine.


    Simplify and add lightness.

    I was going to say it looks mouse-proof (way less technical than Loren).

    I had a nice assortment of hickory nuts stored on top of my engine air filter this past fall.
