Look at the sticker under the hood about the a/c system. It says Valeo right on it lol.

I just looked it up Valeo is a French company! Nooooooooooooooooo! Well there goes my theory of Mitsu having reliable AC compressors. Unbelievable, they wouldn't outsource from Mitsu Heavy Industry, who makes giant commercial units.

I guess I should've been more specific. In addition to turning the temp down, I've pressed the snowflake button, tried changing temp from 67 thru 61 degrees and also tried running it through all modes and circulation options. Looked under the hood and the compressor does kick on and off. I can see it spinning when it's on. Next step is to pick the ac pro and try to charge it.
Valeo!
Did you also try saying "s'il vous plait?"

This sounds eerily familiar as the el cheapo 2015 I just purchased has all of the exact same issues. And as best we can tell from looking at it on the lift, it was a low speed impact (possibly even just with something like a tall curb) that caused all of the damage. Mine has scuffs on the nose, but behind it both doglegs that mount it to the frame rails are roached along with the rad support and the right strut was slightly bent. Also the AC doesn't work because the doglegs and rad support edges are so sharp from the stamping process that they cut the rubber hose. Mind you from the outside the car looks like nothing is really wrong with it.
The Mitsu mechanic I talked with said he has replaced NUMEROUS struts on these as they bend like taffy.
I'm replacing both fronts with KYBs from RockAuto. They also have all of the sheet metal pieces I need too btw.
Just wanted to chime in.
