Mitsu vs BMW vs Chevy parts price comparison/ WTF Mitsubishi!

I love our Mirages, but if I would of known the extortion like prices Mitsu charges for their parts and the lack of aftermarket options, there is no way in hell I would of gotten 2 for our family. Is this Mitsu's strategy? Save you $3 or 4 grand at initial sale only to make that money back in buying parts and making sure aftermarket parts are few and far between? Here's an example of radiator prices from BMW, Chevy, and our Mirage.

Double! Mitsu charges double what f#cking BMW charges for a radiator?!? You cant tell me our cheap little Mitsus have a higher quality radiator than a BMW! This is criminal honestly. Now that's just a radiator right? You could find a cheap Chinese aftermarket and make it work. But what about the other parts that there are no aftermarket options? What is your typical Mirage owner, not the handy DIYers on here, to do? Why does Mitsu charge the prices? Do they charge the prices in Thailand or Japan? Would it be cheaper to order parts from Thailand? What are options for us more financially vulnerable members on here?

Someone please tell me Mitsubishi makes better more reliable parts that warrant these types of prices lol.

Buy aftermarket or used whenever possible unless someone else is paying the ore that stock.

The good(?) news is that there seems to be a steady stream of late-model Mirages ending up in salvage yards across the country...

Getting affordable replacement parts isn't as easy as walking in to your local AutoZone, but there are low-cost used options out there that are a few clicks away.

Please walk me thru those clicks Top Fuel because I'm having issues doing hypothetical parts look up from Car-parts for a 2014. Say I need a new AC compressor, I couldn't find one on any of the traditional sites.
