My water pump is dead, any advice?

I'm actually a lesser alien, I got kicked off my home planet for destroying the water pumps on the space ship. It wasn't really my fault and I should have won the case, but apparently commenting on how the judge's antennae were smaller than average is a bad idea, so they banished me to Earth

The water pump bolts to the timing chain case and the timing chain case has sealant between it and the engine block where the coolant flows from the pump impeller on through the engine. The bearing weep hole is close to the pump bearing behind the pulley and the photo doesn't show any evidence of that. I took a photo of my engine in that area and all I can see is the seam where the timing chain case clamps against the engine block. This is only my opinion going by the posted picture.

Maybe, but I'm just going to swap the pump to see if that fixes it. I feel like there's a bit of a knowledge gap here with what a pump failure looks like on this specific car, so if that is the problem hopefully this will help people diagnose it in the future. If not, then at least it narrows down the issue for my case.
