One thing to point out is, if you are going to drive hammered in a Mirage at least you know if you do get in a wreck the other car and passengers will be just fine.

There was no intoxicated driver. This just highlights the handling characteristics (or lack of) of the Mirage.
I have previously mentioned the uniqueness of the handling in other posts.

On a serious note the driver, who remains anonymous to us, should never be allowed to drive again. Personally I don't give a damn about them but who they injure or kill I do care about.

Glad this video has a (semi) happy ending. I pursued somebody like this once, but they made it home before the cops could arrive. Old man in an old Cadillac who must have been drunk as a fcuking monkey. I noticed that the person who recorded the video had to defend himself against accusations that he was holding his phone in his hand and recording video while driving. I can relate.

I recorded this a few years ago with my dash cam (a dash cam was an unusual thing to have at the time). One of the investigating officers told me his lieutenant saw the video, assumed I had recorded it on my phone, and wanted me cited for it! The cops expected to see some grainy, shaky cellphone video when I told them I had the whole thing on video, but were shocked by the quality. I suspect my dash cam was better than theirs!

The cops wanted to cite you for being a good citizen?!? Too many idiots wearing a badge these days. They will hire anybody with a pulse here in Atlanta.

Holy $hit! I gotta hook up my dash cam in mine. I caught all sorts of stuff with it. Watched a semi rear end a car at low speed but enough to blow out the back window, got a guy who looked like larry enticer driving an old skidoo in the middle of the city pulled over by cop at a gas station. But I wish I had a dash cam when some crazy woman tried brake checking me in my truck then almost lost control of her suv, that was hilarious!

Ha... a friend of mine drove onto a snowmobile trail by accident a week ago (honestly, in her defense it looked like a country lane with a street name... even on Google maps!). She got about 700 feet in before the car got stuck. And she wasn't even drunk!

Too far in to be towed out by a tow truck, it cost her a VERY generous donation to the local snowmobile club who extricated her car with a tracked trail grooming machine.
