Volume Control on Steering Wheel Activates Command Option

Anyone else have the issue where you are lowering or raising the volume on the steering wheel and it activates the command option and disrupts the song? It is sporadic, however often enough to be annoying.I have a 2017 Mirage and it’s done this from the beginning. Assuming this is covered under warranty.

I've had this happen a few times thinking I bumped something. Not a big deal for me to take to the dealer and think I'm crazy.

I'm curious - is this repeatable? I've gotten a voice prompt by accidentally pressing on the SPEECH button (the outermost one of the three), usually with my palm. I can't blame my Mirage for my sloppy wheel-handling skills but I've never had this happen when using my steering wheel volume controls.
