    If I saw a deal in my area like that, I would not overlook it.

    Dunlop Winter Maxx 2 & Nokian Nordman 7 are our two main 165/65r14 snow tires choices in the States.

    If someone wants to stick with 165/65r14 snow tires, these two choices should outperform anything else. The Nokian snow tires can be purchased with or without studs. The Nokian Nordman 7 are one of the better LRR snow tires, but I wouldn't hesitate to try the Dunlop snow tires for that price.

    The dunlops are pretty light, like the summer tire. They have a much softer compound than most cheapo winters.
