Nice collection of hats you have there. I feel like hats had their heyday before my time. Like how people dressed sharper & more understated in the old days, and now it's all bright colours and loud images.

Hats wise, I don't even know the terms for the different ones. I like them though, especially a good beach hat. Stylish and practical, where form and function meet.

The two top left are wide brimmed, when in the car, any car, the head restraint interferes with the brim. Easy solution, don't remove the hat but do remove the head restraint.
The two my son has are a trilby and a fedora.

Did you find any evidence of water in the rear footwells dspace9?

Sorry I forgot to reply til now itschad. I did not see any evidence of water in the rear footwells area. Things are dry in the back, and I see no water stains. This is still a mystery.

Hope you're well we all miss hearing your banter on the Forum.

Sort of wonder if Itschad traded in his Mirage for something else? He wasn't very happy with the Mirage seats, and he was in showrooms looking at other cars shortly after this purchase.

Hi feller. Thank you for your kind words. I'm afraid I've been unwell. At fisrt I thought I'd contracted Covid-19.
After three days I recovered so it must have been Covid-4.5

Having read your post I'd suggest sir that if there is no evidence of water ingress they must have been inserted into the car in that state.

Hi Mark, yes I did visit a few showrooms to eyeball some other metal, Vauxhall Corsa, now French owned, previously GM, Oh gawd, I just walked, nay, ran out. Looked again at the Skoda Fabia but just decided to keep the Mirage.
What is it with this car that endears itself to me?.................Must be the colour. Certainly ain't the perches.

Glad you're feeling better itschad! What a crazy time eh?

Regarding my rusty headrests, I don't know. Remains a mystery. Partly my fault, in that I leave them loose in the trunk. I don't have wet boots or anything in the trunk... maybe something leaked from my groceries.

I find the headrests cause huge blindspots.

Okay, after a day's thinking it has to be economy and all the specification they threw at it.
