Thread: COVID-19 Discussion

I can't even get instacart delivery anymore. They're sooo backlogged their website won't let you even pick a date. I tried every grocery store available for different address in two city's and get the same thing. Can still do grocery pickup if booked almost a week in advanced.

Dirk it'd probably be easier to just get a gun or just say you're infected and spit lung butter as a self defense. Desperate times call for desperate measures lol. Keep fit and have fun!

That would be me. I was about to go service some equipment at a Walmart in New Orleans yesterday until I learned that store had three confirmed cases of COVID19.

I am required to provide service to them because Walmart has been deemed an essential retailer. I told my boss I didn't feel safe going and that was that. I wouldn't be much use to my company if I were to go there and get sick.

Good plan. I knew one of our members were in NOLA. Yah, it's a real hot spot right now.

Life is a reschedule for everyone.

I would be thankful Mad City will do the engine replacement for you some day.

I am not blessed with patience myself, but it's a good lesson for all of us during this time.

I appreciate those who have to work (grocery store clerks, health workers, etc.), & I feel for those who can't work because of all this.

    Stay healthy everyone!

Yeah lets not even joke about that. My wife is a nurse and they are being told they are not allowed to wear a mask unless their patient is already sick. Nearby hospitals have told nurses they will be fired on the spot for wearing their own personal masks. They need all the masks they can get. She's based in Long Beach, CA, where it's planned to send non-COVID patients to the MERCY ship, and keep all the COVID patients at the hospitals.

If anyone has unopened masks that are FDA approved, (hospitals still wont take non-FDA approved masks like KF-94 masks) please call your local hospital and see if they take donations. And if you end up going to drop them off - don't touch anything.

Im sure the $1200 check folks are getting in Los Angeles should cover what? Maybe a fourth of a months rent?
