Thread: I just realized we can sleep in Mirage fully laydown without removing any seats

    Interesting bit o' trivia on legroom, If you have never sat in one of the '98-'10 New Beetles, try it sometime and put the seat all the way back. I'm 6 feet tall and couldn't reach the pedals. I had a buddy who was a true 7 footer and he was shocked when I had him sit in it. He fit fine. Those years of Beetles were the most comfortable car I have ever owned. Miss mine dearly.

    That's a good to know. I like the New Beetle.

    The new Mustang's have a ton of legroom. I get my Mirage serviced at my local Ford dealer, and they had a new Mustang in the showroom last year. Like I was saying, I'm 6'1 and all legs, so it's good to know the vehicles out there with real legroom.

    Maybe 2 door coupes are the ones to look at.
