I asked that question to Shell Head Office and was informed all car washes use non-recycled water. I formerly had a pass to Petro Can but it was a 6mo. minimum and cost $200 with tax. I found a place in St. Catharines much cheaper, $20/mo with a 3mo. minimum but it is 20km from my house, not really worth a twice weekly drive, much less daily. My current place also has the best fuel price and CAA/Visa discounts meaning their gas is always 6c/l cheaper, and is 2km from my house.

The metal rusted there on my car too. So I ziptied the electrical wire between the 2 lights, to make a new license plate light holder of sorts.

Hope this'll keep the lights from dangling down, unless/until the rest of the metal rusts. Poor design by Mitsubishi, not protecting the metal here from winter salt.

Now they're shining light directly down, and not dangling.

These brackets are going to disintegrate on tens of thousands of Mirages in Canada & the Northern US.

Some enterprising person could design & produce a plastic 3D-printed replacement bracket to solve this problem and make a small fortune on Amazon/eBay.

I did make up my own. I wouldn't be opposed to selling some parts.

Above: new light bracket made from some aluminum flashing material - very easy to cut & form; won't rust. Screwed into bumper cover with stainless screws.

9 salty wisconsin winters in - have a broken light mount and the rear quarter is beginning to rot. fluid film has been working good everywhere else. Glad the rockers and subframes are holding up.

But look at those brake drums! Shiny new?

I wire brushed & repainted mine last year.
